About Me...

My name is Tommy Hansen.  I have been building models since I was three years old.  I still have the first model that I ever built.   It is a plastic dog, a Boxer,  that my Aunt Dell bought for me at Woolworths.   It was a snap-together and came with water colors.  I have built everything from planes and ships to cars and trains but I have a real soft spot in my heart for railroad structures.  People that know me can distinguish my models by the "Cats" that inhabit them.  As a member of the N.M.R.A. and The Sunshine Region, I have been involved in the Achievement Program since 1988.  I hold the title of Master Model Railroader #332 and currently hold certificates in Cars, Scenery, Sturctures, Civil, Electrical, Dispatcher, Association Official and Volunteer. Many of the modelers who appear on this web site have influenced me and my modeling.    Special Thanks go out to Tom Schmidt,  Brian Nolan, the late Ross Allen, Gail "Allen" Komar, Tom Grozan, and  Ron Dillon.
